BITTER SWEET LOVE BY KINNIE (MALTA)


Malta is known for sun, seas and its favorite bitter sweet soft drink - Kinnie. However, once you start discovering the beautiful island, one finds out that Malta is also known for its car accidents. Our client wanted to take the brand global, but how in the world do you shine a light on a negative issue while also communicating a unique brand attribute?

We were inspired by the contradiction in Kinnie’s flavor profile, so we teased the campaign with a series of light hearted, animated gifs as well as a brand activation to help bring Kinnie’s bitter sweet flavor to the masses as well as help solve an issue that plagues the Maltese roads.

We wrapped up the campaign with some bitter sweet AR filters as well as a set of collectable NFT’s.
